Evelyn Molloy Obituary
Evelyn Mary (Frias) Molloy, 87, of Newington, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Molloy. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of Agostinho and Maria (Graca) Frias. Before retiring, she worked for the State of Connecticut Department of Labor. Evelyn leaves behind her son, Thomas Molloy and Donna Berube and two daughters, Karen and Chris Colavito and Kathleen and Carl Winkeler; eight grandchildren, Nicole, Ashley, Nicholas, Amanda, Lindsay, Chelsey, Matthew and Ryan; and six great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many dear friends. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Robert Molloy, and a sister, Rose Almada. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 25, at 11:30am at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 183 Church St, Newington, CT. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park. There will be a calling hour, 10-11am, at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm St, Rocky Hill, just prior to leaving for church.
