Forbes Duguid Obituary
Forbes J. Duguid of Shelton, CT Passed away suddenly on October 4, 2013 at Hospital of St .Raphael in New Haven. Forbes was born September 19, 1943. He was the son of the late Dorothy L. and Forbes E. Duguid of Fairfield. He is survived by his daughters Meghan and Rachel Duguid of Shelton; brother Jonathan and wife Vicki of Fairfield; brother Robert and wife Cindy of Torrington. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Jennifer Savader and husband Jason of Stratford, Jed Duguid and wife Marlyse of Sandy Hook and Jill Duguid of Fairfield; Cherie Snowburg and husband Mike of Holly Springs, NC, and Michael Duguid and Kayla Toussant of Fredericksburg, VA, and grand nephews and a grand niece. He is also survived by Beverly Duguid of Jacksonville, Florida. Forbes was a retired computer information technology consultant. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast having spent many years participating in Bike Week at Daytona Beach. He also loved fishing for tuna off the coast of Nantucket, but most of all he loved his family, especially his two daughters, whom he was very proud of. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-8pm in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Rd., Fairfield Center with a prayer service at 7:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Swim Across the Sound Foundation, c/o 2800 Main St., Bridgeport, Ct 06606. I am sorry to hear of Forbes passing. Its so strange, after all these years to have his name pop into my head and I googled his name. I went to school with Forbes and then moved to California. Again, so sorry to hear of his passing.

I've known Forbes for many many years through his one time standard poodle Nala . I am very sad for his family. Forbes was a caring interesting man.

One of the few people I knew in high school who was part of my life until I retired 8 years ago. He loved his toys and most of all - his family.
