Frances Anroman Obituary

ANROMAN Frances M. Anroman age 92, of Derby entered into rest on January 1, 2004, in Hewitt Memorial Hospital. She was the devoted wife of the late John Anroman. She was born in Astoria, N.Y. on March 28, 1911, daughter of the late Frank & Stella Novakowski Czajkowski, and was a resident of Derby for most of her life. Mrs. Anroman was a homemaker and an avid baker, reader and bowler in her younger years. She was a member of the Derby and Shelton Senior Citizen Centers and the Emblem Club. She was the beloved mother of John Anroman and his wife, Donna, of Stewart, Fla., Janet Eldridge of Charlestown, West Virginia, Mary Demanchyk and her husband, Tom, of Derby and Geraldine Webster and her husband, Kurt, of Westburg, Va.; sister of Stanley Czajkowski and his wife, Rose, Louise Czajkowski and his friend, Rose, all of Shelton, and John Casey and his wife, Beverly, of Seymour. She also is survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Saturday morning at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home 253 Elizabeth Street Derby. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Mary Church, Derby. Please call the funeral home for the time details. Interment will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hewitt Memorial Hospital Coram Ave. Shelton, CT 06484.
