Francesca Testani Obituary
Francesca Testani, age 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Bridgeport Hospital. Born on January 26, 1935, in Frosinone, Italy, Francesca had lived in Bridgeport, Connecticut, for 66 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Giovanni, in 1996. She was the daughter of the late Antonio and Anna Antonucci Testani and was also predeceased by her sisters, Pasqualina Piacentini and Vincenzina Santoro.
Francesca leaves behind her two loving sons: Enrico (Kimberly) of Monroe and Anthony (Carol) of Shelton. She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Christie (Thomas) Varnes, Michael (Carolina) Testani, Ashley (Michael) DeKens, Brittany Testani (Nathaniel Indorf), and Jonathan Testani, who lovingly called her Nonnie. She also leaves behind five great-grandchildren: Bianca, Everly, Harrison, Alessandra, and Mason.
Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate her life on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Spadaccino Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:15 AM at St Margaret's Shrine in Bridgeport. Followed by entombment at St. Michael's Cemetery in Stratford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the dedicated medical staff at Bridgeport Hospital's ICU for their compassionate care during her final days.

I´m so sorry to hear about your mom´s passing. She was such a warm and caring person, always making everyone feel welcome and valued. I´ll always cherish the memories of sitting and chatting with her-she had a way of making every conversation feel special. She will be missed.
