Sylvia Testani, 96, of Endicott, passed away surrounded by her family, Saturday, October 4, 2025. She was predeceased by her Husband Edward; her son Edward; parents, Nick and Mary DiPaolo; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Angelo and Mary; brother-in-law , William; Rudy(Mary); Larry (Gloria); Robert and Arthur; sister-in-law, Emma; She is survived by her beloved son John (Diane); her two grandsons, which were the light of her life, Anthony(Abigail) and Matthew and girlfriend Emily; sister Loretta Testani; brother Nick DiPaolo; sister-in-law Catherine Testani; and her son Edward’s significant other Elieen; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a special good friend, Shannon. Sylvia was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott. Sylvia was a devoted wife of 64 years, whose nurturing spirit shone through in her unwavering commitment to ensuring everyone around her was well-fed and cherished. After her husband's retirement, she embraced their winters in Florida with delight, forging deep and joyful friendships that enriched those years. Her warmth and generosity will forever linger in the hearts of those she loved.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 am, Tuesday, October 7, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 300 Odell Avenue, Endicott. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at church, Tuesday, October 7, from 9 am until Mass time at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 North McKinley Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760.
