Frank J. Duch

DUCH Frank J. Duch, age 79, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 in the Bridgeport Health Care Center. Frank was born in Bridgeport on July 18, 1929, and was the son of the late John and Mary Nemergut Duch. He was a United States Air Force Korean war veteran and an employee of the Railroad for many years. He was also a bartender at the Germania Schwaben Club. Frank is survived by one niece, JoAnne Mastroni of Huntington; grand nephew, Jamie Mastroni and wife Courtney of Ansonia; two grand nieces, Melissa Mastroni and husband, Manny Alves of Ansonia, Annie Mastroni of Huntington; and sister-in-law, Helen Duch of Shelton. Frank loved his dogs, especially "Oscar". Funeral services will be held on Friday June 26, 2009 at 9 a.m. in the Holy Name of Jesus Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery.
