Michael A Duch passed away on December 14th, 2025 following a brief illness. He is predeceased by his wife of 54 years Sandra (1942-2020) and is survived by his daughters Claudia and Alexandra. Born in Pittsburgh, Michael moved to New York in the 1970s and was a longtime resident of Bronxville before retiring to Manhattan. He was a devoted father, a management consultant by profession, lover of jazz, classical musical, Orthodox theology and a lifelong gourmand. He enjoyed travelling with his family until the end of his life having recently been to places including Nantucket, Cleveland, London, Oxford, Paris, Positano and Rome as well as spending time in the city and Hamptons with his grand-dog, Charlotte (Lottie).

A Panikhida will be celebrated on Sunday, December 21st, 2025 at 12:00pm at Fred H McGrath & Son in Bronxville, NY. Visitation and funeral services will be held on Monday, December 22nd, 2025 at St. Stephen Orthodox Cathedral in Philadelphia, PA starting at 9am. The burial will take place immediately following at Oakland Cemetery in Philadelphia.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Vladimir's Theological Seminary, https://www.svots.edu/support/make-a-gift.

A Panikhida will be celebrated at 12pm Sunday, December 21, 2025 at The Funeral Home

Calling Hours and Funeral Services: 9 to 10 am, Monday, December 22, 2025 at St. Stephen Orthodox Cathedral in Philadelphia, PA with Funeral Services to follow at 10am.

Interment: Oakland Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA
