FRANKEL, Frederick Maximillian, age 71 of Apollo Beach, FL died February 22, 2013. Mr. Frankel was born in Norwalk, CT. He lived in Fairfield, CT for 27 years, prior to moving to Sarasota, FL for a number of years until settling in Apollo Beach, FL in 2007. After graduating Norwalk High School he attended Norwalk Community College and earned his bachelor degree from the University of Bridgeport. He served proudly in the U.S. Navy and was a liquor distributor having worked for Connecticut Distributors, C.K. Mondavi Wine Co. and Joseph E. Seagrams Co. He was a member of Congregation Beth Shalom of Brandon was a former member of Temple Sinai in Sarasota and the Les Amis Du Vin. Survivors include his beloved wife of 40 years, Joan. son and daughter-in-law, Mark & Carla Frankel of Fairfiel CT, daughter and son-in-law, Sara & Gregory Chiarilli of Ruskin, cherished grandchildren, Aaron, Aden, Abigail, , Scarlett & Elliana, brother, Howard Frankel of West Palm Beach, sisters, Ann Baena of West Palm Beach, Hannah Stein, CA, Sandra Glynn, CT., Margo Webb, CT, and Linda Waetjen of TX. Funeral services will be held in Florida In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the National Diabetes Association.
