George Cisneros Obituary
George Alfredo Cisneros, age 71, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 03, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 18, 1945 in Otavalo, Ecuador, he was a son of the late George Alfredo Cisneros and Victoria Armas Cisneros. George had a love and passion for cooking and was a chef at Waveny Care Center, New Canaan, for 32 years. George's mere presence could light up any room He loved to make people laugh and dedicated his life to his family. He meant the world to his children and grandchildren. In years he never once missed his beloved Wednesday card game with his siblings. His infectious smile will forever be missed and his place at the card table will never be replaced. Survivors include his four loving children, Michelle Cisneros of Bridgeport, George Alfredo Cisneros III of New Haven, Christine Cisneros and Jamie Cisneros both of Trumbull, two cherished grandchildren, George Alfredo Cisneros and Daviann Milagro Cisneros. He also leaves to cherish his memory 10 brothers and sisters, numerous nieces and nephews and four beloved dogs. A Memorial Mass celebrating George's life will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew's Church, Bridgeport. There will be no calling hours. I loved Jorge so much and am so heartbroken for his family and for the world. For almost 2 decades I can reflect on memories spent with Jorge and hearing stories about him and things that he said, places he went (random trips to Atlantic City), weekly poker, sticky notes to Christine, waterbeds, gardens, little pants, instances with the Connecticut Post and News Channel 12. Even now i cant help but smile through the tears as I think of them. All of these moments brought so much joy and laughter. I will cherish and treasure them always. When he came to the church for my wedding in 2011, and sat right behind me, I was more happy to see him then I was the groom!! He left an everlasting mark in my heart and to everyone who knew him and in this world, that is a rare gem and we were all blessed to have known him. Especially to my best friend Christine, he loved you so much, you two had such a special bond and not even death can separate that. This man was the absolute best and I am so sorry Christine, Jamie, Michelle, George, Daviann and to his brothers and sisters and grandchild. I am praying and praying for him and for you.
