George Fountain Obituary

FOUNTAIN George Edward Fountain, age 63, of Stratford, passed away on November 21, 2011. Born in 1948 and raised in Houston, Texas, George worked as a Retail Executive for various companies, including Saks Fifth Avenue and Barneys New York. George enjoyed playing and watching all sports and had a sweet tooth for Gummy Bears. He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Maiden-Fountain; his mother, Lylah Fountain,; and his four sons, Brandon, Blake, and Brett Young-Fountain and Zachary Maiden-Fountain. Moreover, George will be loved and missed by his loving cousins and many friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 10:30 am at St. James Church. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to: The ALS Association CT Chapter, 4 Oxford Road D4, Milford, CT 06460. Arrangements entrusted to the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford.

I worked at saks when George was the manager- every one loved him - he was a kind nice person - it was a pleasure to work with him

Dear George,
I think of you every minute of everyday. My love for you is never ending although my heart will never be whole again. You were my brother and my friend and I am am greatful to have had you in my family. I promise I will watch over Bonnie and Zachary and we will all keep your memory alive. Hi Bonnie - So sorry to hear about George. I don't know if you remember me but we worked together in Saks in Stamford. I met Hector today in CVS and he told me about George. I will ever forget the great times with had with your husband. I just loved him - he was just a great guy.
