Grace Maltese
Grace (Gaetano) Maltese, age 95, of Fairfield, beloved daughter of the late Frances and Pasquale Gaetano. Grace, the wife of the late John Maltese and mother of the late Frank Maltese, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 17, 2023.
Grace loved cooking big dinners for family and friends, finishing off with her famous cheesecake. She loved music and dancing, especially Frank Sinatra.
Her survivors include her daughter, Norma Jean and her husband Jim, son, John Maltese and daughter-in-law Diane, who have tirelessly addressed Grace's needs during these difficult 5 years, and daughter-in-law Carmela Maltese. Grandchildren: James and Mathew Sayball and Dr. Michele Sayball and husband Jeremy Hannon, Michael Maltese and Dana Maltese Baar and her husband Ben. Grace is survived by 5 great-grandchildren: Ezekiel, Zion, Judah, Nestah and Selah Hannon.
Friends are invited to join the family in prayer at St. Pius X Church on September 8, at 10:00 a.m. with a burial to follow at Lawncroft Cemetery.

I loved my grandma and will miss her so much. She will alway be making me smile with random memories we shared and things she said. She is at peace with my grandfather now and Unkle Frank. God bless MeMa:)
