My aunt passed away may 2 2008,
I wrote this poem in her memory.

The birds of sorrow,
to me, they have flown,
My dearest aunt, from me,
she has gone,
Oh the sun does not shine,
and the mountains they cry,
The birds of sorrow, to me,
they fly.
If you took every color, from
the garden in bloom,
and paint every flower,
with darkness and gloom,
paint each petal, with the
darkest of night,
that would be my heart,
when the birds took to,
flight.
The birds of sorrow,
to me, they have flown,
My dearest aunt, from me,
she has gone,
Oh the sun does not shine,
and the mountains,
they cry,
The birds of sorrow, to me,
they do fly.
