Helen Gelozin Moyher age 95 of Fairfield passed away peacefully on Thursday March 19, 2015. She was born in Milford, CT in 1919 to the late John and Natalie (Sidor) Gelozin. She was married to John Moyher for 55 years before his death in 1996. She is the last remaining member of the Gelozin family of Bridgeport. She was predeceased by Alphonse, Walter and John Gelozin and Agnes Filus and Bertha Walewski. She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Manning (Neil) of AZ. Patricia Moyher of Fairfield, and Mary Anne (Thomas) Spann of FL. She is also survived by two grandchildren and was predeceased by a third Brian Jose of Prospect. Her grandson Bill Jose and his wife Mindy Jose and their three children, Austin, Morgan, and Hudson, granddaughter Alaina Jose Miller MD and husband Alex and their children, Owen and Olivia…and Brian's family Marilia and children Amelie, Evan and Amanda. She is also survived by 33 nieces and nephews from the Gelozin and Moyher families. Helen had a very full life, which revolved around her extended family and Sunday cookouts at the pool. Her social life which included White Eagles, Polish Falcons and her church, she also took great pride in her long working career. Helen loved to travel especially her many trips to her family's homeland of Poland. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday March 21, 2015 at 11:30 am in St. Michael the Archangel Church followed by interment in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield. Calling hours will take place on Saturday morning from 10 to 11am in the Commerce Hill Radozycki Funeral Home, 4798 Main St. Bridgeport.
