Henry Evola Obituary

EVOLA Henry L. Evola, age 76, of Myrtle Street, Shelton, entered into rest on Monday, January 8, 2007, at Masonicare Ashlar of Newtown. He is the beloved husband of Nancy Webb Evola. Henry was born in New York City on May 18, 1930, son of the late Joseph and Judith Piscapo Evola, and he was a Shelton resident for 43 years. He was a machinist for more than 40 years, and worked at Textron Lycoming until his retirement in 1991. He is the beloved father of Joseph Evola and his wife, Anne, of Old Saybrook, Teresa Mitchell and her husband, Donnie, of Kodak, Tenn., Lisa Lengel and her husband, Scott, of Shelton, and Richard Evola and his wife, Cara, of Bradford, R.I. He is also survived by a sister, Rose Begodt; 11 cherished grandchildren, Joseph, Suzanne, William, Julia, Joel, Ashley, Ryan, Kyle, Samantha, Kellie, and Ricky; two loving great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Lorenzo Evola, and two sisters, Rafaele Gimelli and Josephine Evola. Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. His funeral processions will leave the funeral home on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Shelton. At the request of the family, memorial contributions can be made to the Connecticut American Parkinson Disease Association, 27 Allendale Drive, North Haven, CT 06473.

My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you my dear sister Nancy, my nephews and Nieces, Joey, Terry, Lisa and Richard.I will always remember the kind, gentle, caring and surragate Dad Hank. Those great times growing up and spending time with the Evola family will be locked in my memories forever.My deepest love will always be with all of you.
