Henry R. "Hank" Lewonczyk

LEWONCZYK Henry "Hank" R. Lewonczyk, age 64, of Ansonia, beloved husband of 27 years of Judy (Marshall) Lewonczyk, died on Friday, December 7, 2007 at Yale New Haven Medical Center after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on July 12, 1943 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to the late Henry P. and Mary Ann Stone Lewonczyk. He was a retired welder for Allied Signal in Stratford. He enjoyed his many hobbies which included gun smithing, fishing, boating and a great love of Native American artifacts which he collected. Hank loved cars and motorcycles, especially his Mustangs. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by two sons, Robert Lewonczyk and his wife, Susan and Christian Lewonczyk, both of Stratford; one daughter, Cindy Prosenak and her husband, Andrew of Stratford; one sister, Mary Ann Borquez of South Carolina; his mother-in-law, Louise Marshall of Bridgeport; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister-in-law, Valerie Bologna and husband, Marty of Stratford; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Shane. Friends may greet the family on Thursday, December 13, 2007 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Street, Stratford. A prayer service will take place at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
