Dr. Shapiro was one of the smartest men I knew. He helped me see the potential I had in moving on with my education. He made me laugh and I got him out of work early, it was a deal we had. I will miss Dr. S greatly. My deepest sympathy go out to his beutiful wife Maria and his family. Love and Rememberence Always, Kamille(Seton)

We are shocked and saddened to read of Dr. Shapiro's passing. Three generations of our family depended on him for our care and for knowledge, reassurance and humor. He was a very special human being. Our heartfelt sympathy goes to his family. May your memories of him be a comfort to you now.
God bless you.

To my friend who always had a smile and a hug for me, whom I have known since he first started working in Labor & Delivery at Norwalk Hospital - I "broke him in" so-to-speak...I admired and respected him very much, and I will miss knowing he is on this earth. My sincerest sympathies. Helen Adinolfi, retired R.N.

Dr Shapiro has been well known to myself and my sisters for years. He was my ob-gyn with my first daughter, Sarah, who is now 14. I've known Howard since I was about 18...a wonderfully funny, kind hearted and sincere physician!!!
I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time of sorrow.
God Bless,
