I was blessed to be Jim and Melissa's friend and work with him/for him. He worked hard and played hard. And was a very generous giving person. He will be very missed. God bless and rest in peace. God bless his lovely family and his amazing wife. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

It is with sadness that I learned of Jim's passing. As a neighbor to Melissa and him in Sarasota I always enjoyed our conversations. He always had a warm smile, quick mind and sense of humor. He was knowledgeable about so many different subjects. Speaking about his family and wife always brought a smile to his face. He will be missed by all.
One of the best days !

I will be forever grateful for having met Jim. His kind and gentle demeanor, together with his deep love for his beautiful wife are just some of the things that I will remember fondly. Jim had a fighting spirit and without a doubt, spending time with Melissa was one of the things that fueled that spirit. I am saddened by his loss, but having watched my daddy fight a similar battle, I am happy he is no longer in pain and Melissa and his family no longer have to endure that feeling of helplessness that one feels at the inability to spare our loved ones pain. May the Lord bless Jim's soul and the hearts of his loved ones and many friends left behind to mourn the loss of such a kind man. His smile lit up a room...but his smile when he was with Melissa, together, BRIGHTENED ANYONES DAY. It did mine. Thank you Jim for your kindness. You will be missed. RIP.
