James jabo Obituary
Funeral Services for Mr. James "Jabo" Clark, 76, of Winnsboro, will be held at Magnolia Baptist Church, Winnsboro, LA. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm till service time on March 7, 2014. The service will begin at 10:00 AM on March 8, 2014. Interment will be at Harris Cemetery, with Rev. Ron Ferrington, Rev. Carlos Trapp, Rev. Kelly Clark and Rev. Dave Philips officiating, all under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro, LA.
Mr. Jabo Clark was an educator who began his career at Ward III High School as a science teacher and Assistant Principal. He retired as Principal of Winnsboro Junior High. From 1958-1973 he was employed by Ouachita Cigar and Tobacco Company. He was also a part-time salesman for Memorial Granite Works. He was born on March 20, 1937, and passed away on March 5, 2014. He is preceded in death by; his parents Curlie Edward Clark and Eugenia Parker Clark, Brother Cedric Develle Clark, sister Elizabeth Clark Trapp, and brother in-law Travis Trapp.
Mr. Clark is survived by; his wife Elaine LaBorde Clark, his children Terri Clark Shirley and husband James, Doug Clark and wife DeeVonia, Deanna Clark Remore and husband Kyle, grandchildren; Karla Shirley McHand and husband Scott, Kyle Clark and wife Megan, Logan Clark Parker and husband Derek, Kayla Shirley, Kevin Shirley, and Kasidy Clark Remore, great grandchildren; Christian McHand, Jordan Clark, Morgan Clark, and Mollie McHand, sisters in-law, Myrtis Clark, Betty Bryan and husband Royce, and Ann Robbins and husband W.L.
Pallbearers will be; Roger Ulmer, Mike Emfinger, Doug Easterling, Chuck Easterling, Danny Walters, Johnnie Brown, Steve Roark, Terry Shirley, and Dewayne Day. Honorary Pallbearers will be Sonny Ramsey, Royce Bryan, W.L. Robbins, Robert Rushing, Howard Mullican, E.H. Emfinger, Danny Remore, and a host of family, friends, nieces, and nephews.
