I met Jim around 1960 while attending the University of Bridgeport. Thursday nights were guys night out and we often met at Pat's Bonnie Brae or the Golden Nuggett on Main Street in Bridgeport. There were about six of us and we all all always had a good time and laughter with Jim. I remember the several New's Years and St Patricks parties at the German Swaben Hall. We were all unmarried at that time but one by one we all married and went our family ways. I was the last of the guys to marry and Jim attended my wedding in 1973. We all liked Jim and when he joined the NYPD I lost contact with him. A good friend he was and I am sad of his departure. My condolences to all his family.

I will miss you Uncle Jim. You could always be counted on to be there whenever anyone needed you. You were the one that taught me that ketchup makes everything taste better. Hope they have ketchup in Heaven where you are sure to be going.
