Janice Lindsey Obituary

LINDSEY Janice Lindsey, age 42, of Bridgeport, died on Wednesday, June 25, 2003, at Bridgeport Hospital. A lifelong Bridgeport resident, she was a member of Second New Light FWB Church, where she served on the Usher Board, and was Pack president at Dunbar School, where she was employed as a cafeteria aide. Survivors include her husband, Curtis Lindsey of Bridgeport; two daughters, Latoya Rembert and Irene Lindsey of Bridgeport; her mother, Mary Rembert; four brothers, Jesse, Rodney, Jimmie and John Thomas Rembert, all of Bridgeport; one sister, Annett Rembert of Bridgeport; two granddaughters, Nyasia Brown and Tahzhane Rembert; and other relatives. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Second New Light FWB Church, 25 Princeton Street, Black Rock, with the Rev. Clifton Jones officiating. Interment will take place on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Park Cemetery. Viewing will take place on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church. Morton’s Mortuary Inc., 25 Margaret E. Morton Lane, Bridgeport, is in charge of arrangements.

I'm sorry and sadden by the lost of Sister Lindsey.To Irene and Latoya I pray that you seek God in your time of mourning and that you continue your life with love and memories of your mother.I'm so sorry and hope your doing o.k.To Sister Rembrant you are a pillar for your daughter and a loving person.To all of Janice Lindsey's family and friends, may God bless you and keep you.
