Dad and Sue,
Words will never express the pain and sorry we feel at the loss of Jared. We wish we could do more to take away this pain and bring him back. Jared was a great brother and we will truly miss his enthusiastic energy and smile he always had. Whenever our family visited from Utah, Jared was a great uncle and he always spent time playing with his nephews. The last memory I will always have of Jared was how excited he was at becoming a father and what the future held for his own family. Jared will always be in our prayers and we will truly miss him.

Grandpa and Grandma; We are so sad at what happened to our uncle Jared. When we were little he would always take time and let us play video games with him. He also gave us his dog he loved for christmas and will never forget that.

Erin, Liliana and family,

Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you now and always. Jared was a special person, for sure. Always a smile, always a joke. I don't recall a moment he wasn't smiling or up to something to cheer someone up. Even if the justice system does not deal with this properly, God will. Jared will always be with you, Erin and Liliana, guiding you and loving you forever. We love you and are here for you!

December 24, 2006

To our dear loving friends John Tagg Jr & Sue, Uncle John & Aunt Elva, the entire Tagg family, Erin and little Liliana Marie...our words can never express the deep sorrow and sympathy we have for the sad loss of Jared, but I’d like to offer a few words of support in hopes that it will add a small bit of comfort to you all. We want you all to know that whatever touches the Tagg family, it also touches the Soderquist family. Our families share one important thing in common towards each other, and that is love. I know we do not see each other as often as we’d like, and sometimes, we may not say the sentimental words we always want to share with the Tagg family, but, we are always joined in spirit, in love, in support, and in prayer for one another. Speaking for every member of my family, and for myself, I want to say that we love each and every one of you very deeply. Our ties go way back to a true and caring friendship that began between my parents and yours; it was, it is, and always will be a bond of love, of strength, of sharing and of support, and this will continue throughout the future generations of our families. Today, as we teach our young children, we share the stories of the Tagg family so that even our childrens children might continue our bond long into the future and so that they will be blessed by not only the memories we share of each other yesterday and today, but that of an unbreakable friendship the Soderquist’s share with the Tagg’s tomorrow and forever more. The sad loss of Jared is felt not only now, but will be in the future generations of our families. We cannot even begin to fathom the loss your family suffers, but we do feel it very deeply. The only thing we can offer you is our love in return, our continuing prayers, our sympathy and our support, not only now, but in days and years to come. Jared's spirit and the memories of him will live forever in the hearts and minds of both of our families because of his kindness, his generosity and his humerous and gentle spirit that he lived his life for... but simply put, because he is a Tagg, a member of the most wonderful family to ever step foot on this earth. Though no longer with us to share himself with us in body, we know in our heart of hearts that today, he dances with the King and with our loved ones gone before. May God grant your family His comfort, His strength, His courage, His peace and His unending love throughout the holiday season and forever more. If there is anything we can do, anything, we will be honored and blessed to help in any way. Once again, we offer our deepest condolences...

Most sincerely,

Kevin D. Soderquist & the entire Soderquist family
