Jeffrey Hughes Obituary
Jeffrey C. Hughes, age 72, of Stratford, died on August 14, 2023. He was the son of the late John "Jack" and MaryLou Hughes.
He is survived by his partner, Carolyn Burr of Stratford; sister, Alexandria M. Hughes, of Sun Valley, Idaho; brother, Britt Hughes and wife, Wendy, of Stratford; and nephew and nieces, Willi Cannell, Isabelle Cannell, and AnNa Hughes. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, James Hughes.

I was friends with Jeff for 55 years. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. I want to express my deepest condolences to his partner, Carrie& his family. He was a special person and will be deeply missed by many RIP Jeffrey.

To Jeff´s family: I knew Jeff from school(shs). Was very nice person and very knowledgeable about his town history. Enjoyed seeing his pictures of Stratford. May he be at peace with the lord and resting we were blessed to have him in our lives and he will be in our hearts and prayers for ever more. Having had the privilege and pleasure of being a close friend of Jeff since the mid- 1960's when people from all over hung out at Stratford's Paradise Green Park I'll be among many that will miss him , but not for long, I fully expect to see my Brother in Christ not too much further down the road in that Celestial Paradise of Heaven. Jeff and I spoke on the phone almost every day or night for the last few years and I smile even thinking about it. Jeff was a man of many smiles and I count myself as Blessed to have known him.

I just heard of Jeff's adding bc I'm in PA. I graduated with him in '69, lost touch and reconnected years later via fB. Such sad news of a great guy. Prayers to his family. Barb
