Jeffrey Tallman Obituary
November 13, 1945 - August 18, 2024
Jeffrey Kevin Tallman, 78, of Weston Connecticut. Died on August 18, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. He was born on November 13, 1945 to the late Clifford and Yolanda Tallman in Mobile, Alabama. He is a graduate of Roger Ludlowe High School where he was a starting half back on the State Championship team. He attended Cheshire Academy and Central Connecticut State University. He served in the US Marine Reserves for six years. Jeff was an owner of Tallman Builders in Southport, CT, J Tallman Builders in Weston, CT, and Tallman Segerson Builders in Fairfield, CT. Jeff was an avid photographer,
wood worker and prolific artist. Jeff will be remembered by those whom he met, knew and loved as the kind and giving man he was.
Jeff is survived by his wife Ariane of 58 years of Weston, CT and by his sons, Jude (Kathleen), Josh, and daughter Morgan (Justin). Four brothers Cliff (Connie), Perry, Paul (Alease), Peter (Sandra) and two sisters Betty McParland (Kevin deceased) and Lili (Rob Mason). He was devoted to his grandchildren, Mason and Miller Tallman and Ophelia Cribari.
A wake will be held Friday, October 18 from 3:30 to 5:30 at The Scandinavian Club, 1351 South Pine Creek Road, Fairfield, CT.
Jeff's grandson, Mason, was born with POLR3B, a form of Leukodystrophy, a degenerative brain disease. The Yaya Foundation is actively working to find a treatment and ultimately a cure for this rare disease. Please consider a contribution in lieu of flowers.

I shall remember my dear cousin fondly. In my formative years Jeff was always kind, supportive and encouraging. I admired his curiosity about so many things and his self-reflective nature. He will be greatly missed by many.

Jeff you were my first non family friend. We played sports at the boys club .We had fun with our classmates .We went on family vacations together and we had fun in your basement with the girls. But what I remember most of all .You were really a good person and a super friend .Love ya Jeff. Begeorge

Jeff, there are so many things I want to say, but I can´t find the words. Thank you for being a great boss, I truly felt appreciated by you which is not something most people can say about their boss. I will never forget you, your kindness, or your passion. To Ariane, Josh, Jude, Morgan, and your families: I am so sorry for your loss. Jeff will be forever missed, but never forgotten. Thinking of you and sending my deepest condolences.
