Joan Ciambriello Obituary
Joan M. (Porch) Ciambriello, age 88, of Shelton and formerly of Fairfield passed away peacefully on Monday, October 10, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles J. Ciambriello, Sr. Born in Bridgeport on January 6, 1934 she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Chizmadia) Porch. Joan was an avid bowler and a voracious reader, always enthralled in a good book. Her greatest enjoyment however was found in the time she spent surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored above all else. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her loving son, Charles J. Ciambriello, Jr and his wife Dawn of Shelton, her cherished grandchildren, Ryan Ciambriello of New York, NY, Alec Ciambriello of Shelton and Carly Beeman and her husband James of Fairfield, her sister, MaryAnne Porch Perrotta of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, her brother, Stephen Porch Jr and his wife JoAnne of Westport, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Charles, she was also predeceased by her sister, Barbara Nassif and brother-in-law, James Perrotta.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Easton. Arrangements have been entrusted to Abriola Parkview Funeral Home and online condolences may be left by visiting us at www.abriola.com.

Joan was my mother's dear friend for many years. I talked to Joan a few times on the phone after my mother died. Joan adored and was so proud of her grandchildren. She always appreciated a funny story and we laughed about hating technology! I hope Joan and my mother (Kaye Speer) are laughing up a storm and betting on Jai Alai games. Sweet dreams lovely lady!
