Joanne P. Micalizzi Valluzzo

VALLUZZO Joanne P. Micalizzi Valluzzo, age 72, of Trumbull, beloved wife of Michael J. Valluzzo, Jr., died peacefully on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Ludlowe Health Care Center. Born in Bridgeport on March 30, 1939, she was the daughter of Ann DeStefano Micalizzi of Bridgeport and the late Joseph P. Micalizzi Sr. She attended St. Patrick's Elementary School and Lauralton Hall and later graduated from the St. Vincent's Hospital School of X-Ray. In addition to her husband and mother, survivors include a son, Michael Christopher Valluzzo and his wife Janice of Trumbull, a daughter, Ann Marie Lumpinski and her husband Michael of Woodbridge, sisters-in-law, Dianne Wells Micalizzi of Fairfield and Marie Convertito and her husband Paul of West Redding, four grandchildren, Evan and John Lumpinski and Christopher and Stephen Valluzzo as well as many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother Joseph P. Micalizzi Jr. Funeral services will take place on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial.
