John Early Obituary

EARLY John J. "Jackie" Early, III , age 27, of Shelton entered into his eternal rest, in his home with his loving parents John J. and Cindy (Moccia) Early, Jr. by his side. Jackie was born in Derby on February 20, 1985 and was a lifelong Shelton resident. He was a member of the Shelton High School graduating class of 2003, and was proud to be the manager of the football team for 4 years. Jackie was an avid New England Patriots, and Boston Red Sox Fan, who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his cousins. He is the cherished grandson of Dorothy Moccia and Theresa Early. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfathers Anthony Moccia and John J. Early, Sr., and 4 uncles. Friends may greet his family on Friday from 3 to 7 PM in the Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Road Shelton. On Saturday friends are requested to go directly to St. Joseph Church, 424 Coram Ave., Shelton for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery Shelton. At the request of his family memorial contributions may be made to the Jackie Early Scholarship Fund to benefit students at Shelton High School c/o the funeral home. I was deeply saddened when I heard of Jack's passing. I have so many great memories of him. Spending time at his house when we were younger, and growing up going to school together. My thoughts and prayers are with his family as they go through this difficult time

Jackie closed his eyes from the world one last time, knowing he had two most loving and caring parents,Jack & Cindy Early. Their love,strength, kindness, friendship and determination grew over the 27 years knowing that one day, GOD would need HIM, just as they've needed HIM. I pray that no worry stay too long and your heartaches ease with time. And though Jackie has gone his seperate way, GOD will give him the biggest window to watch "YOU," everyday.
