John D. Mastri
John D. Mastri, age 79, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 19, 2025 with his loving family by his side. Born in Bridgeport on March 12, 1946, he was a son of the late Earl E. and Madeline Napolitano Mastri. John was a retired employee of the City of Bridgeport Board of Education Custodial Services Department and was also formerly employed by AVCO Lycoming.
A loving and devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, John took great pleasure in the simple things of life. He treasured time with his family, especially his granddaughters. The unconditional love he gave and values he taught will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his three loving sons, Earl Mastri, Frank Mastri, and John Mastri; three cherished granddaughters, Heather Mastri and Lia and Ava Esposito; an adored great-granddaughter, Dakota Libby; two brothers, Earl Mastri and Louis Mastri and wife Donna; a sister, Claudette Fogarty; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Theresa Mastri. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
