John Partalas

PARTALAS John Partalas, age 55, of Hamden, previously of Bridgeport, beloved husband of 27 years to Anna Papanikolaou Partalas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2006. Born in Greece, he was the son of the late Athanasios and Maria Zahos Partalas. A resident of Bridgeport since 1982, John moved to Hamden a year ago. He was the former proprietor of John's Painting Co. of Bridgeport and the Partalas Greek Social Club located in Bridgeport. Survivors in addition to hie devoted wife, Anna, include three children, Athanasios Partalas, Maria Medina and Brian Miltiathis Partalas, all of Hamden; a grandson, Nathan Medina; a brother, and five sisters, all of Greece; and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday at 12 noon in the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with the Rev. Demetrios Recachinas officiating. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the Ronald MacDonald House c/o the family. On Friday (TODAY), friends may call at the church, 4070 Park Avenue, after 10 a.m. The Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport (on the Trumbull line) is in charge arrangements.
