John Salamon Obituary
John J. Salamon Jr. age 61 of Bridgeport died Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Danbury Regional Hospice. Born in Bridgeport he was the son of the late John J. Salamon Sr. and Catherine Stonaha Salamon. John worked for Allied Signal and Avco-Lycoming during his career. He was very actively involved in his Church. He loved horse racing, off track betting, and salt water fishing. He is survived by his loving son, John Salamon of Bridgeport, his grandson and pride and joy, Greyson, and his son John's mother, Virginia Biedermann. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 9:00am – 11:00am in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. A Prayer service will begin at 11:00am in the funeral home. Please dress casual and wear a bright colored shirt. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. A lunch reception will follow. My deepest condolence to the Salamon family.I just found out that John has enter the Gates of Heaven.John "Johnny" alway stop at my office to Hi before his appointment.Johnny alway talked about his grandson who he love deerly. He will be truly miss. RIP JOHN "Johnny".

So sad I just found out this news and so sorry. I worked with John for many years at Avco and also knew John from the bowling years. Always a great guy and quick to always share a laugh with friends and co-workers. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. Rest in peace John
