Wallace, John
Mr. John Henry Wallace, 90, of Waycross, Georgia died Wednesday afternoon at Mayo Clinic Health Systems of Waycross. He was born in Decatur County, Georgia to the late Aaron Wallace and Sarah Vaughn Wallace. Mr. Wallace made his home in Bridgeport, Connecticut before moving to Waycross in 1999. He worked as an expeditor on jet engines for Avco Lycoming before he retired in 1982. He was a member of the Waycross Hebrew Center. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Wallace, a sister, Carrie Anderson, and two brothers, James Wallace and Isaiah Wallace.
He is survived by his daughter, Ursula Love (James) of Waycross; step-daughter, Azuloy Burse; step-son, Lewis Howard (Elizabeth); grandchildren, Ursy Wallace, Darren Council, Jaie Love, Carmen Howard, Jaymi Green (Nehemiah), Lyle Love; step-grandchildren, Rhobi Jenkins, Quia Jenkins; great grandchildren, Tyson Steele, Camren Love, Aleisa Love, Malichi Davis; step-great grandchildren, Quinyez Jenkins, Rhobi Jenkins, Jr., Rhaquez Jenkins, Quadrez Jenkins, Quira Jenkins, Michelle Lopez; sisters, Clemie Keaton, Ollie Keaton, Juanita Lloyd (Joe), and numerous other relatives.
A graveside service was held Friday, September 16th in the Jewish Cemetery within Oakland Cemetery in Waycross.
