Jon Christian Swenson

SWENSON Jon Christian Swenson, beloved son of Priscilla Handy Swenson and the late Sidney R. Swenson passed from this life on September 18, 2010. He was a graduate of Joel Barlow H.S., Class of 1973. Jon was a graduate of Colby College, Class of 1979 during which he spent 1 yr. at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. He later attended and graduated from the University of Delaware. He later was accepted at Yale University as a graduate studies student. Jon was a talented musician and played with many local bands. Jon was predeceased by a sister, Mary Elin and a brother, Steven who was a professor at the University of Oregon. He has fought a long and painful battle with cancer only to succumb finally on Saturday, September 18, 2010. He is survived by his sister, Anne Horowitz of Roswell, Ga.; his brothers, Paul and Thomas of Fairfield; and his mother of Fairfield. Rest in peace my dear one.
