Mr. Melita was a very special man, who lived his life with Family and God at the center of everything. You were all so very blessed to have him for so long, you truly hit the jackpot. Tony and Terry Spinelli would have liked to personally extend their sympathies but were severely sidelined by the storms. We will always think very fondly of Mr. Melita and we hope your many beautiful memories bring you peace and much joy! Our best to Mrs. Melita and all the family. FROM THE DAY I MET JOE IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL I KNEW JOE WOULD BRING HAPPINESS TO WHOMEVER HE TOUCHED. MAY GOD BLESS HIM IN HEAVEN.

Deacon Joe will forever be in our hearts. For many years he was the leader of the Diocesan scouting awards, and is owed a huge debt of thanks for his dedicated service honoring boy and girl scouts for keeping the Catholic faith as a part of their studies. What a wonderful man you was a mentor to many.
