Joseph Wisinski Obituary
Joseph Thomas Wisinski, age 92 of New York, formerly of Stratford, loving husband to the late Veronica (Ronnie) Pastor Wisinski, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2025. Born in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Joseph and Stella Bernatowicz Wisinski. Joseph was a devoted parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Church in Bridgeport for many years. He worked as a typewriter repairman, was a member of the Polish American Club, he loved to work in his garden and always would lend a helping hand to others. He will be sadly missed.
Joseph leaves behind his nieces, Allison Henderson, Darcie Friedberg, Ainsley Friedberg, his brother William Wisinski, Daughter Jennifer Szost, great-niece Lucy Henderson, cousins Gary Wisinski, Jackie Wisinski, Paul Lukienchuk, Susan Lukienchuk.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, Bridgeport followed by interment in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Joe was a wonderful man. I was a tenant of his when I lived in Stratford. He and Ronnie were like family to me. May he rest in peace with Ronnie in the arms of our Lord.
