My Grandmother was a beautiful & vivacious woman who survived much heartache, some of which was very similar to my own. Despite some tough times she came through the other side victorious, and in her last years she was stonger, funnier, and smarter than ever. I hope that is true of myself at that later age...
Just recently I was made aware of the fact I am VERY much like my Grandmother was, and I find myself wishing there had been more time to explore this revelation with her...
Someday we will meet again in Paradise and we'll discuss how we both were usually late for everything, didn't like nick-names, enjoyed being the life of the party, had no patience for ignorance, and then will probably argue over which one of us was NEVER WRONG -since we BOTH thought we were ALWAYS RIGHT! ~LoL
I also want everyone who knew Kathleen Spray to know WHY I am so sure we WILL end up together again in Heaven one day...
Days before she died, my Grandmother openly expressed her belief in the Lord, asked His forgiveness, and accepted Christ as her Personal Savior. I want all who cared about her assured that she left this Earth KNOWING she would be welcomed home into His Kingdom and is now FREE of all the illness, pain, and sorrow.
I believe my brother, Reverend Jason Spray, phrased this perfectly at the Memorial Service today...
"I want to share with you all that it is never too late to ask for forgiveness and be welcomed into God's Glory... but I also want to share with you all today that it is NEVER TOO EARLY EITHER."
Why wait??
REST IN PEACE Grandma, and I'll see you in about 50-60 years...
LOVE, Dawn

Mrs. Spray is one of the dearest memories of my teenage days. I can still see her beautiful smile and kind eyes. I extend my sympathies to Keith, Scott and Glen - I am so sorry that your mother has passed. God bless all of you and your families in this sad time. I am sending this message to you with my love and prayers - Ann Marie.
