Kevin Bernier Obituary

BERNIER Kevin L. Bernier, age 44, of West Haven, entered into rest on Sunday, February 25, 2007 at his home. He was the beloved husband of 20 years of Donna Baltes Bernier. Kevin was born in Derby on November 21, 1962, son of Lucien and Evelyn Burt Bernier of Seymour and lived in Seymour until moving to West Haven 21 years ago. He was a route driver for the last 17 years for Automated Services of Milford. Kevin loved nature, enjoyed walking and spending time outdoors. Most of all, he was a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his cherished daughter, Michelle; his sister, Lynn Patafio and her husband, John, of Beacon Falls; his mother-in-law, Antoinette Baltes of Shelton; sister-in-law, Louise Baltes of Derby; and his niece and nephew, Jessica and Daniel Walsh. Friends may greet the family in the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. His funeral procession will leave the Riverview Funeral Home on Friday at 8:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Church in Shelton. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Shelton. At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to the Michelle Bernier Education Fund through the funeral home.
