Laura Petersen Edmonds

EDMONDS Mrs. Laura Petersen Edmonds, entered into eternal rest on November 15, 2008 in Milford. She was born in Bridgeport, on October 9, 1922, the middle of five sisters. Laura was the devoted wife, of John J. Edmonds, Sr. who died in 1991. Laura and Jack lived in the Katharine Hepburn cottage on the Housatonic River near Bonds Dock in Stratford from 1946 until 1948 while building their home in Milford. Laura is survived by her two sons, John J. Edmonds (Judi) of Milford, and Christian P. Edmonds of Branford. She is also survived by her treasured and beloved granddaughters, Ashley, Lara Marie, Marisa and Meagan Edmonds. Laura is survived by her sisters, Karen (George) Hansen of New Fairfield, and Elsie Toth of Fairfield; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Carla P. Finn and Caroline Luciano both of Bridgeport. Friends may call (Today), November 18, 2008 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street on the Green, Milford. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. in King's Highway Cemetery, Milford.
