Lawrence Belardinelli Obituary

BELARDINELLI Lawrence Belardinelli Sr., age 65, beloved and devoted husband of Cheryle Jean Walski Belardinelli, of Ford Street, in Ansonia, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at the Griffin Hospital in Derby. Mr. Belardinelli was born in Bridgeport, on December 26, 1940, son of Jennie Conge Belardinelli of Melbourne, Fla., and the late Alex Belardinelli. A resident of Ansonia for 14 years, he had worked as the shipping and receiving manager at Practical Automation in Milford for eight years. Larry and his wife enjoyed camping and are members of the Good Sam's Camping Club. In his spare time, he also enjoyed woodworking. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Lawrence Belardinelli Jr. of Denver, Colo., and Kenneth Belardinelli and his wife, Donna, of Ansonia; two daughters, Lorraine Visconti and her husband, Dean, of Shelton, and Darlene Rauccio and her husband, Dominic, of Ansonia; three brothers, Alfred Belardinelli of Melbourne, Fla., Joseph Belardinelli of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Robert Belardinelli of Raleigh, N.C.; a sister. Luann Lepore of Palm Bay, Fla.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives are invited to attend his funeral on Thursday, January 5, 2006 at 9 a.m. (DIRECTLY) at the Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia for a mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Peter's Cemetery in Derby. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Spinelli-Malerba-Ricciuti Funeral Home, 62 Beaver Street, in Ansonia.
