Leo J. Ouellette
Leo J. Ouellette, age 82, of Seymour and formerly of Trumbull, CT and Naples, FL, passed away January 27, 2019 at Griffin Hospital. He was born in Lewiston, ME, son of the late Aurele and Cecile Ouellette. He retired from Sikorsky Aircraft after many years of service as a blade assembler. Mr. Ouellette proudly served our country as a US Marine. He was active in the communities where he lived, serving as usher at St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Trumbull and Saint Finbarr Parish in Naples, FL. He was a longtime member of the American Legion and a sports enthusiast who loved to cheer his beloved Giants and Boston Red Sox to victory. He was predeceased by his wife Jane Ouellette and granddaughter Nicole Ouellette. Survivors include his two devoted sons Brian (MaryJane) Ouellette and Paul (Kim) Ouellette both of Seymour; his siblings Raymond (Julie) Ouellette and Rita Bernier both of Lewiston, ME and Muriel (Don) LeBlanc of Austin, TX; five cherished grandchildren Michelle, Brianna, Karianne, Scott and Jason and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral service on Friday at 10:15 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 190 Shelton Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be private in Lakeview Cemetery.
