Leslie M. Hardy, age 94, passed peacefully on July 7, 2025 at The Watermark Health Center. Born in Bridgeport on April 7, 1931, she was the daughter of Harry and Beatrice Dorothy Mansley from Stratford. She is now reunited with her husband Myron P. Hardy who predeceased her on May 13, 2010. Leslie is survived by her two children, daughter, Leigh H. Graham and her husband Scott Graham and her son, David P. Hardy and wife Kathryn Hardy. She also leaves behind her two grandchildren, Alyssa L. Graham-Norton and husband Jason Norton and lan D. Graham and wife, Sydney, as well as her three great-grandchildren, Jesse and Lexi Graham and Harper Norton and her niece, nephews and cousins. Leslie's love for music was the heartbeat of her life, for over 60 years she sang faithfully in the choir at the Grace Episcopal Church. Even in quiet moments she often hummed a familiar tune, turning a simple car ride into a melody. She found beauty in the simple joys of life- the colors of a blooming garden, the cheerful song of birds outside the window and the quiet comfort of a good book. Above all, she lived her life on her own terms, with strength, grace, kindness and love. Her presence was a gift and we will carry her love with us always. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Southport Congregational Church, 524 Pequot Avenue, Southport. Interment will be private at Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull. Friends may greet the family from 9:30 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. in the church.
