Lisa Parrella Obituary

Lisa Parrella
Lisa (Sinnott) Parrella, age 52, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2021 after a brief illness at Connecticut Hospice in Branford with her loving family by her side. Lisa was a lifelong resident of Stratford.
Lisa enjoyed vacationing with her family at Sanibel Island in Florida and in her recent years with her "boys" and friends at Lake George. Lisa was a tag sale "treasure hunter." She would always find unique items for herself and friends. She also enjoyed family gatherings with her many cousins. Her infectious smile and laughter will never be forgotten.
Lisa is survived by her loving parents Jim and Carol Sinnott of Stratford, sons, Louis Parrella of Stratford and Anthony Parrella of Bridgeport, and her cherished grandson, Ethan Parrella of Stratford. She is also survived by her brothers, Keith Sinnott and Scott Sinnott and his wife, Becky and sons, Andrew and Alex, all of Stratford. She is also survived by her loving aunt, Mary Morris of Stratford. She will be missed by her many cousins as well as her caring and cherished friends, and by Emily and Amitah as they called Lisa their "other one Auntie." Although she will be missed here on earth, we take great comfort that she is in heaven with her loving grandparents and extended family.
We especially want to express our sincere thanks to the medical staff at Yale and CT Hospice for their loving care and support, and especially to her lifelong physician, advisor, and friend Dr. David Jutkowitz of Stratford whose support to our family will never be forgotten.
Friends may call on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 4-7 p.m. for a walk-through visitation at Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford. Please do not linger so that others may pay their respects. Face masks are required and social distancing guidelines must be followed. All other funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers, hug your children or a loved one and do something fun with them. To express condolences online, visit www.pisteyfuneralhome.com.

Few are the days that go by that Lisa and her family are not in my thoughts. Still sadly missing her and her vibrancy.
