Loretta Quaranta Obituary

QUARANTA Loretta Quaranta, age 73, of Bridgeport, a retired employee of Sikorsky Aircraft, died on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at Bishop Wicke Health Care Center. Born in Bridgeport on November 12, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Loretta Kelly Waltersdorf. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Quaranta Jr.; and a daughter, Debbie Quaranta. Survivors include two sons, Charles Quaranta and his wife, Irma, of Seymour and Frank Quaranta III and his wife, Nancy, of Stratford; a daughter, Pam Lopes of Wisconsin; two sisters, Shirley Hoydilla of Shelton and Sharon Amato of Stratford; ten grandchildren, John, Tony, Joanna, Melissa, Frankie, Alaura, Elise, Jamie, Randall and Shayna; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will take place in St. John-s Cemetery, Stratford at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2006. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bishop Wicke Health Center, 584 Long Hill Avenue, Shelton, CT 06484. To light a virtual candle, visit us at www.abriola.com.
