Loretta Quaranta

QUARANTA Loretta Quaranta, age 73, of Bridgeport, a retired employee of Sikorsky Aircraft, died on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at Bishop Wicke Health Care Center. Born in Bridgeport on November 12, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Loretta Kelly Waltersdorf. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Quaranta Jr.; and a daughter, Debbie Quaranta. Survivors include two sons, Charles Quaranta and his wife, Irma, of Seymour and Frank Quaranta III and his wife, Nancy, of Stratford; a daughter, Pam Lopes of Wisconsin; two sisters, Shirley Hoydilla of Shelton and Sharon Amato of Stratford; ten grandchildren, John, Tony, Joanna, Melissa, Frankie, Alaura, Elise, Jamie, Randall and Shayna; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will take place in St. John-s Cemetery, Stratford at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2006. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
