Margaret Ernst Obituary

ERNST Margaret Traver Ernst, age 80, of Milford and beloved wife to the late John H. Ernst III, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 24, 2011. Born on August 29, 1930 in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late James and Anne Ritz Killian. Prior to her retirement, she was an insurance representative for Adam Miller Agency in Monroe. Margaret was a very devoted, loving and caring mother and grandmother who brought happiness to all that had the privilege to know her. She is survived by her two daughters, Mary Ernst Cerreta of Trumbull and Kathy Weichner of Milford, two sons, John T. Ernst of W. Islip, NY and William H. Ernst of Lakeworth, FL, and two sisters, Barbara Bowen of Branford and Roberta Nolan of Milford. Also her seven cherished grandchildren, Kelly, Jayden, Marco, Matthew, Christy, Michelle and Nicole and two great grandchildren, Jack and Gracie. She was predeceased by her brother James Cadoret in 1994. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 28th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, 400 Merwin Ave., Milford, CT. Committal will be private. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, July 27th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St, Milford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691. www.codywhitefuneralservice.com.

Peg was always fun to be around, always had a smile for you. She had a way of bringing out laughter whenever it was needed. She will be missed.

We are so sad to hear about Peggy's passing and feel blessed to have known her. To have spent some memorable moments with her and her family. Peggy will be truly missed. But we all will see her one day. Heartfelt sympathy to all of her family.

We were so sad to hear the news about Aunt Peggy’s passing. We have such fond memories of her at the family weddings, picnics, and our trip to Hawaii. We were so blessed to have her as part of our lives and our extended family, she will be truly missed. Heartfelt condolences to all of you; we are keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers.
