Mariana Moreno Obituary

MORENO Mariana (Queiros) Moreno, age 86 of Bridgeport, the beloved wife of the late Joao Moreno, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 21, 2011 in her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Pedrario, Montalegre, Portugal on December 20, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Antonio Queiros and Maria Fernandes and was a Bridgeport resident for 45 years. Survivors include her beloved children, Antonio Fernandes and wife Albina Fernandes, Manuel -Fe rnandes Alves and wife Maria Alves, John Fernandes Moreno, and Luisa Ferandes Moreno, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one brother, Joao Queiros and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 8:00 AM in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Ave. Bridgeport and at 9:00 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 429 Huntington Rd., Bridgeport with a Mass of the Christian Burial. Interment in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home. www.parentelauro.com
