Mark Becker Obituary

BECKER Mark A. Becker, age 59 of Shelton, entered into rest on September 29, 2010. Mr. Becker was born in Bridgeport on September 6, 1951, son of Beverly Cave Schwarz of Cape Coral, Fla. and the late Ernest Becker. Mark was employed as a proud pizza maker at Salerno's Apizza in Stratford for 15 years. He enjoyed visiting the casinos and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his former wife, Margaret Becker-Dandorph and her husband, Michael of Shelton; two sons, Mark A. Becker of Seymour and Christopher M. Becker of Shelton; a daughter, Andrea Cerminara of Stratford; a brother, Peter Becker; and sisters, Dawn Mayo and Sherrie Christensen, all of CT; two grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Dane Becker and his stepfather, William Schwarz. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial gathering and a celebration of Mark's life on Sunday, October 3, 2010, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Salerno's Apizza, 1398 Barnum Avenue in Stratford. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. The Spinelli-Ricciuti Funeral Home, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia has been entrusted with the arrangements. Mark, it's been 13 years of your passing. I still miss you. You've missed so much. Things you would have enjoyed like having a cell phone that is just like having a small computer. Mark, you were always my best friend. For the last 22yrs we had are ups and down but we always ended up together we were/are soulmates. I will always love you and I will live life for our son Christopher. He is hurting because he misses you and so am I. Our deepest sympathy goes out to the entire family. So much pain and sadness for everyone who loved him and knew him. Hearts are broken and tears are falling.
