Martin Tristine Obituary

Martin P. "Buz" Tristine, age 79, of Shelton and Lordship (Stratford), CT, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Martin was born on December 17, 1944, son of the late Martin A. Tristine and Mary (Pelletier) Tristine. Buz was the beloved husband of Judith (Sekerak) Tristine, his childhood sweetheart and devoted wife of 56 years. In addition to his wife, Buz is survived by his four children and their spouses whom he loved as his own children: Cheryl (James) Callery, Dr. Edward (Faith) Tristine, Joseph (Lindsay) Tristine, and David (Daniela) Tristine; eleven grandchildren: Taylor, Jake, Eddie, Julia, Katie, Jason, Samantha, Ashley, Daniel, Siena and Sammy. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. by meeting directly at Our Lady of Peace Church, 651 Stratford Rd., Stratford, CT 06615. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Rd., Trumbull, CT 06611. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford, CT.
