McCarthy, Mary Ann
Mary Ann McCarthy, age 76, of Milford, CT, beloved wife of John McCarthy for 56 years, entered heaven's gates on Tuesday, May 14th surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. McCarthy grew up in Fairfield, CT. Mary Ann and John raised six beautiful daughters in Milford, CT. She was the manager of the Milford Coin Laundry. She enjoyed gardening and her annual trip to Las Vegas. She enjoyed simple things in life and was proud of her family. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, John McCarthy; Her six daughters; Tammy Skirkanich (Andy) of Milford, Cynthia Finch (Frank) of Milford, Maureen McCarthy (Frank) of Rockport, MA, Catherine Kochan (Brian) of Clayton, NC, Eileen Thibault (Mark) of Milford and Carolyn Lonergan (Rob) of Milford. She is survived by 21 grandchildren; Heather, Bill, Heidi, John, Mark, Jennifer, Cindi, Nick, Trevor, Chad, Michael, Eric, Robbie, Ryan, Jaclyn, Suzanne, Kaitlin, Sara, Maryanne, Colin, and Abbey. She is survived by 8 great-grandchildren. Mrs. McCarthy is pre-deceased by her dear son in law, William Corkery Jr. Family and friends may call on Friday, May 17, from 4:00-7:00 PM in The Gregory F Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 12PM DIRECTLY in St Ann Church, 501 Naugatuck Avenue, Milford, CT. Interment will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford, CT. To John, and family; we were overcome with sadness to learn of the passing of Mary Ann. Our mother adored her, as we did growing up. Many fond memories of her and our mom, going to Bingo, Weddings etc.

Im so sorry, she really did fight til the end. She is in pain no more. And to think that Mary Ann, Kathleen, and Mercy are all up there together. Heaven help us..lol She will be missed.
