Mary Sleeper Obituary

Mary D. Sleeper
Mary D'Eramo Sleeper, age 96, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 29, 2025 with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on May 14, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Gabriel and Leonida Yolo DiBenedetto D'Eramo. Mary was a retired employee of Peoples United Bank and had over 25 years of dedicated service before her retirement. She was also a longtime volunteer at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Mary was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She treasured time spent with her family and the unconditional love she gave will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her loving children, a daughter, Maria Honorowski and her husband Richard, a son Salvatore DeSimone and his wife Marianne, six cherished grandchildren, Sarah Mohr (JT), Mark Honorowski (Caroline), Anthony DeSimone (Katrina), David DeSimone (Jamie), Michael DeSimone (Nicole) and Anna Demers (Dean), 14 adored great-grandchildren, a sister Donna Nigro and her husband Thomas, sister-in-law, Lucille D'Eramo, as well as several nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
She was predeceased by her brothers, P. Bennie D'Eramo and Joseph D'Eramo and his wife Carol.
At Mary's request, all funeral services were held privately and burial took place in Mountain Grove Cemetery of Easton. Arrangements entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. To leave an online condolence please visit www.abriola.com
