Mary Worthington Obituary

Mary S. Worthington
Mary S. Worthington, age 87, of the Huntington section of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Joseph W. Worthington, Jr., entered into eternal life on March 20, 2017.
Mary will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Dr. Joseph W. Worthington, and his wife, Angela, of Fairfield, and Dr. Robert B. Worthington, and his wife, Joy, of Tampa, FL; three adored grandchildren, Joseph Worthington, Matthew Worthington, and Abbey Worthington.
Mary was born in Brooklyn, NY and had worked as a social worker for the Department of Social Services in Suffolk County, NY. Mary's devotion to her faith, family, and friends will remain a cherished memory for those whom she touched in life.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel in the St. Pius X Church Faith Center. Her interment will follow at the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown.
