Max Mones Obituary

Max K. Mones
Max K. Mones, age 80, a lifelong resident of Fairfield and the beloved husband of Corinne Kilbride Mones, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 14, 2018.
Born in Fairfield, he was the son of the late Max and Amelia Pavoni Mones. Max graduated from Roger Ludlowe High School and proudly served in the United States Army. He had worked as a produce sales manager until he retired. Max enjoyed camping, and playing "baseball" with his friends and tossing the ball for his grand dogs, Gus and Spencer. He also enjoyed watching the NY Giants football and the UCONN Women's Basketball games.
In addition to Corinne, his loving wife of 54 years, Max leaves behind his daughters Donna and Marsha Mones, both of Fairfield, his brother Ronald and his wife Sharon Mones of Clinton, sister Emily Mones of Milford and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday (Today) from 4-8 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. His Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Ann's Church, Bridgeport. Interment will be held privately.
His family would prefer memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice. For travel directions or to sign his online guest register, please visit www.LeskoPolkeFuneralHome.com

Max, I think of You often, especially when I’m at my reloading bench. We traded war stories about his time in the Army and mine in the Navy. He was proud of his service asnd was a true Patriot. Max, I miss our times on the range and the fine tuning tips fir my rifles. RIP.
