Michael Fahey Obituary
Michael Joseph Fahey Sr., age 57, of Stratford, beloved husband of Mary E. Onore-Fahey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Saturday August 20, 2016 in the Connecticut Hospice, Branford, CT. Mr. Fahey was born February 2, 1959 in Bridgeport, son of the late Vincent and Genevieve (Garfield) Fahey and had been a life time area resident. Michael graduated Bunnell High School Class in 1977 and the Tech Career Institute. He was an excellent mechanic and worked for Airway Motors and Hard's Corner Mobil. Mike was an avid snow skiing, water skiing and power boating fan and a 20-year member of the East End Yacht Club. Survivors in addition to his wife include his two children, Michael Joseph Fahey Jr. and Mathew Fahey; two sisters, Pamela Fahey and Patricia Fahey and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Vincent. "Good Night Austin Texas wherever you are." Frank Zappa. All services will be private and at the convenience of the family. I went to school with Mike, all through Whitney to Bunnell. I always loved his smile, his humor, and his laugh. He was a good guy. I am so sorry for your loss and I wish only peace and good memories for all of Mike's family.
